Intermediate Accountant

This 2nd tier firm has a diverse client base, from a range of industries such as resources and mining, financial services and industrial, including some notable listed companies.

This is the sort of client base you need to work on to gain the leverage to progress to the next level in this prominent mid tier firm.

There will be a high level of client interaction as you are involved in tax compliance and business consulting . You will be given a lot of scope to move into different areas of Tax & Business Advisory Services as you become involved in consulting assignments and special projects, as there is no regimental specific task focus.

There is a heavy focus on training, professional development and full-time support from one of the four of the division's partners.

Ideally you will be in the process of completing your CA or CPA and have 12 months+ experience in an Australian public practice.

Business Service Intermediate

 

There is a requirement for an Intermediate with the motivation and drive needed to succeed in this high performance environment.

 

The CA support at this Big 4 firm is, as expected, top notch. Flexible study leave and textbook allowance are just the tip of the iceberg. Weekly focus groups led by those at the top of their game, individualised mentoring and a healthy monetary bonus upon completion are what awaits.

 

At this level, your compliance skills will be developed on large scale clients. Client turnovers are $50M at the very minimum. Choose the industries that interest you the most. Government? Non for Profit? Automotive? Your choice!

 

Needless to say, the Big 4 offer more than competitive salaries and this role is no exception. On top of your base, you can expect 6 monthly reviews, bonuses and non-monetary incentives.
